How Much Does a PgMP Certification Cost?

The cost of obtaining a Program Management Professional (PgMP) Certification Online can vary depending on several factors. It depends on whether or not you are a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI), as well as the cost of study materials and exam preparation courses.

Insights for Writing Your Experience Summary

Your answers should be clear and on point and the use of proper English is mandatory.
Try using a notepad or Word application to type out your answers and then put them into your summary into your application.
Make sure you respond to all elements of the option. For example, if the Experience Summary Option asks you to state how you identified and evaluated risks, make sure you give proper examples of how you identified and evaluated the risks.
Answers with responses to all the elements of the option are likely to be 200 – 350 words.
While putting work experience on the application, kindly put in your program background information, which will be reviewed by the panel reviewers. Do not repeat the program description again and again in your answers.
Kindly respond in the first person. PMI is interested in examples of your personal and individual contributions to the program.

Can I Retake the PgMP Exam?

Yes, you can retake the PgMP exam if you are not successful on your first attempt. However, there are certain restrictions and requirements that you should be aware of.

If you do not pass the exam on your first attempt, you must wait at least one calendar month before you can take the exam again. You may take the exam up to three times within a year from the date of your application approval.

If you do not pass the exam after three attempts, you must wait one year from the date of your last exam attempt before you can apply to take the exam again. In addition, you will be required to provide evidence of additional education and/or professional development activities related to program management.

Each time you take the exam, you will need to pay the exam fee. The current exam fee for PMI members is $800 USD, while the fee for non-members is $1,000 USD.

It is important to note that while retaking the exam is an option, it is also important to use the experience to identify areas where you need to improve your knowledge and skills. Consider taking additional study courses, participating in study groups, and using practice exams to help you prepare for the exam.
